The cooling system prevents the engine from running too hot or cold by circulating coolant using a water pump. It's controlled by the thermostat to the radiator, with the airflow assisted by the fan and belt. Our cooling systems are carefully specified and tested for many tens of thousands of hours to maximize efficiency and prolong engine life.
